Mercer County Right to Life is sponsoring three essay contests this fall. The topics are: “Why I Am Pro-Life” for 9th & 10th graders, “How I Defend My Pro-Life Position” for 11th & 12th graders, and “How I Can Assist the Pro-Life Movement” for 18-22 year olds. The essays are to be 500-800 words in length and must be submitted to mercercountystudentsforlife@outlook.com by Wednesday, November 8th, 2017. The scoring will consist of grammatical, factual, creative, and inspirational criteria. First place winners in each category will receive $200, and second place winners will receive $100. All remaining essay participants will be included in a raffle for 10 prizes of $25 each. Please include your name, address, e-mail address, school, and grade or age at the beginning of the essay.
